The goal

Create a home office in this new construction home that had visual and auditory connection to the kitchen and other living areas. Keep aesthetic consistency with finishes and feeling in other areas of the home.

Some highlights

Warm greens combined with rich woods of mahogany and walnut reference the wooded site and the materials used throughout the home. Deep green commercial carpet mimics the forest floor and is practical for the use of the desk chair.

Desk faces opening which looks onto the kitchen and great room and has file storage and shelving within easy reach.
