It all began…
This one goes way back. When LuAnne played with Barbie dolls as a child,
she spent more time setting up their houses than she did playing with
the dolls. In 6th grade, a school assignment challenged her to write about
an interesting career and, you guessed it, LuAnne wrote about interior
design. And when her parents went out, she’d rearrange the furniture.
Fortunately they liked what she did, and were appreciative she never knocked
out a load-bearing wall.

Q: What kind of interior design
projects get you most excited?
A: I like working with clients who are
passionate about design, but they don’t realize it until they discover
it through the process.
Q: If you weren’t an interior designer, what else would
you do?
A: Landscape photographer. I love capturing
something not everyone else might see.
Q: Is your home just the way you want it?
A: Oh, it’s fabulous. It’s
the perfect compromise between what I wanted and what my husband wanted.
Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Anything and everything outside.

Studied abroad. Traveled throughout Europe in a program to study historic interiors and architecture.
Served as chair of ASID community service committee and continues active participation on community service committee.
National Council for Interior Design Qualifications. Passed board exam in 2006.
