The goal
Design the interior for a new construction home including finishes, fixtures and furnishings. Create a low maintenance yet sophisticated environment that allows the empty nester clients to spend time with each other and entertain.
Some highlights
The combination of greens with warm wood tones and heavy textures acknowledges the wooded site and conveys the connection to natural surroundings. Soft green flooring that shifts seamlessly from tile to carpet suggests the forest floor. The interplay of mass and void recalls the dappled effect of sun and shade in the landscape.
Porcelain tile flooring, granite counter tops, catalyzed wood finishes and commercial grade carpet answer maintenance concerns.
